 Cette maison a une histoire, ancienne bergerie de famille, première Guest House au Plan de la Tour en 1997 avant que ce concept ne soit connu et même télévisé.

Une âme et une beauté authentique....

Une maison provençale pensée par Gilles et Françoise avec une configuration idéale pour une cohabitation entre nos hôtes et notre famille.

Welcome to the Sheepfold

A Haven Of Peace On The French Riviera

 

In the heart of the Massif des Maures and a stone's throw from the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, we welcome you to our family home located in a preserved setting 2 km from the village of Plan de la Tour.

Former family sheepfold, completely renovated in a Provençal spirit by Françoise and Gilles to welcome their first customers as hosts in May 1997, today it is their daughter and her husband, Jennifer and Philippe, who will receive you in a warm and serene atmosphere.

They will prepare hearty breakfasts for you, with homemade jams and pastries, fruit and vegetables from our vegetable garden depending on the season, fresh squeezed orange juice and eggs.

In order to guarantee a stay conducive to relaxation, La Bergerie has 3 bedrooms located on the first floor of the house, with terrace, all air-conditioned, with typical decoration and modern comfort with a capacity of two people as well as two apartments in ground floor: the marine apartment ideal for a family of 4 (children under 12) and the vineyard apartment for two people.

You can relax around the outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi, or take advantage of leisure activities such as table tennis, Babington, pétanque, table football, etc. scattered over the 2 Ha property…

Don't worry Gilles, a native of Plan de la Tour, a winegrower will never be far away to advise you both on your walks around and on oenology, with a selection of wines and champagne from harvesting producers on sale at La Bergerie.

For your vehicle, free and secure parking is available.

An event spirit is possible within the framework of a specific request.

You will be able to discover and enjoy DIEN CHAN sessions at your convenience, which will be given to you by Françoise, a certified practitioner.

The wish of our family: to bring together the conditions so that your stay is optimal and that these shared moments make you want to come back to perfect your discovery of our beautiful Provence!

Welcome in our House

We are very happy that you have chosen us for your vacation. We would like to let you know the internal rules of our house in order to allow you to spend the most pleasant holidays.

Our guest house is not a place freely open to the public. It is a family made up of Jennifer, Philippe, Andrea, Anna-Rose, Pippa (our Maine Coon), and Stuart (our Golden Retriever) who welcome you to their home. There may also be other travelers on the property. This is why we invite you to take advantage of all the places of life made available to you in the conviviality and the respect of the intimacy of each one. For the comfort and tranquility of all, we regret that we cannot accommodate animals on our property.

  We reserve the right to shorten your stay if this should not be respected and you will be charged in full.

 

Reservation and duration of stay

The reservation becomes effective when the customer has sent the owner a deposit of 50% of the total amount of the price of the stay at least 60 days before his arrival by bank transfer.

The payment of the balance of the stay must be made the week before your arrival.

The customer may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises beyond the stay reserved and granted by the owner.

 

Arrivals :

In order to be able to welcome you in the best possible conditions, we will be waiting for you between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on the day of your arrival. However, it is essential that you inform us of the approximate time of your arrival. Late or early arrivals, for example, dropping off luggage in order to be able to visit the surroundings with a less vulnerable vehicle, are subject to prior agreement.

 

Departures :

On the last day, departures are at 10:30 a.m. at the latest. We are not hotel professionals and must be able to have the necessary time to offer people who arrive later the most welcoming room possible. In addition, the sanitary measures of the covid force us to ventilate at least 3 hours before a new arrival. On the day of your departure you must leave our guest house, you will no longer be able to take advantage of the outdoor facilities (swimming pool) after 10:30 am.

 

The breakfasts:

Breakfasts are served between 8:30 am and 10:00 am.

In winter: breakfasts are served at different time slots according to everyone's preferences in the lounge.

In the summer season: breakfasts are served outside on the terrace with tables far from each other to respect a regulatory safety distance.

The table d'hôtes:

We offer the table d'hôtes on reservation at least 48 hours in advance at the price of 48€ per person, 20€ for children up to 12 years old. Tables d'hôtes with special menus such as bouillabaisse, paella, fisherman's fish... are possible (price on request).

 

Bedroom :

  The bedrooms are on the first floor. You have access to a terrace with a view of the vegetation.

Your room is not intended for laundry or meals. A hair dryer and a flat screen TV with TNT are available in your room. The sound should be moderate from 10 p.m.

You also have the possibility to access WiFi for free.

LIVEBOX 9699 and the password will be communicated to you upon your arrival. The house built with stone walls sometimes prevents a good internet connection.

Illegal downloading is prohibited.

It is advisable not to eat and drink in the rooms, the terraces with tables and chairs are at your disposal in the property

 

While it is traditional for visitors to store bedding, effects and clothing, their hosts carry out a cleanliness check every day on request. Heavy soiling and any damage you may cause will be your responsibility. The safe will allow you to store your valuables (jewellery, small multimedia devices, bank card, checkbook, cash, etc.) which should not be left in the rooms or in parked vehicles. We decline all responsibility in the event of disappearance or theft of these objects.

 

The apartment:

The apartment is located on the ground floor of the house. You have access to a terrace with a view of the vegetation. You have a kitchen, and breakfast is not included in your stay but can be taken by reservation.

 

 

Covid:

In order to ensure the greatest safety, we have been extremely careful to respect the health instructions related to Covid-19. Be aware that to avoid any contamination:

  • All paper documents and books on the region have been removed from the accommodation but we have prepared a sample of documents for you which will be thrown away if you do not use them at the end of your stay.

  • The air conditioning filter has been cleaned and disinfected

  • Curtains and fabrics that cannot be washed at 60°C after each stay have been removed .

  • All the contacts we will have together will strictly respect the rules of physical distancing with the wearing of a mask.

  • You will find soap and disinfectant spray from the French brand 100 bon available in the accommodation.

  • The vacuum cleaner is not used to avoid the diffusion of particles.

  • We have cleaned the accommodation with a mask and according to a precise cleaning and in-depth disinfection process according to the information in force (household linen washed at 60°, ventilated accommodation, cleaning and disinfection with cleaning products validated by standards EN13727 and EN 14476 or bleach)

  

Animals :

Animals, dogs and cats, are not allowed because there is already our cat Pippa, our dog Stuart, as well as our chickens on the property.

In this case, your deposit paid at the time of booking will not be refunded.

 

The exterior:

You have access to a saltwater swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a petanque court, a ping-pong table, a badminton, as well as an outdoor gas plancha, we will be happy to provide you with plates and cutlery, the plancha will be cleaned by you after use.

You can walk around the entire property bounded by a stream.

 

General provisions :

  In compliance with Decree No. 2006-1386 of November 15, 2006, it is forbidden to smoke in places for collective use. The entire establishment, including the rooms, is therefore non-smoking.

As part of the protection of minors, the sale of alcohol is prohibited to minors under 18 years of age. We ask our guests to present themselves in decent attire at all times, and to be dressed and fitted with shoes when traveling in the common areas.

 

Customers undertake to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of their stay and to declare, and assume financially, any possible deterioration for which they may be responsible. Children living within the property are the sole responsibility of their parents. Our kitchen is not left to the free disposal of the hosts.

 

Swimming pool and jacuzzi rules

In the context of French regulations on the use of family swimming pools open to guests (objective to avoid accidents of which children are victims) and with the aim of allowing harmonious use, these regulations have been drawn up:

 

The owners remind all their customers of the lack of pool supervision.

The swimming pool being a family swimming pool, its use is reserved only for people staying in our guest house, access to any outside person is prohibited.

Any child under 13 unaccompanied by an adult parent is not allowed to access the pool area. The use of the swimming pool by children is under the full supervision and responsibility of their parents.

Users are committed

  • To respect the opening hours

  • Swimming pool 9:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. Jacuzzi 2 p.m. - 8 p.m.

  • To take a shower before bathing or after using sun cream or oil

  • Not to be accessed in town shoes

  • To use a swimsuit, nudism is not allowed

  • Use a towel or fouta when sunbathing

 

 

Thefts and accidents:

  We decline all responsibility in the event of theft or bodily injury occurring on our property. We have surveillance cameras on the outdoor car parks, an electric gate.

 

Eco tourism

We are sensitive to the safeguard of our planet and wish to contribute to the protection of the environment by minimizing the footprint of the operation of its reception structure.

Simple, non-binding measures can do a lot. This is why we are counting on your collaboration to:

avoid leaving lights on unnecessarily,

· do not let the water run and moderate the flow during showers, we have water problems, drought in the middle of summer which prevents us from watering the vegetation,

put the dirty linen on the floor in the bathroom so that it can be changed if necessary,

We kindly ask you to dispose of only toilet paper in the toilets, the other waste having a bin for this purpose, due to the septic tank,

· the bins are emptied daily and the waste sorted by the owners. Containers are freely accessible outside if you wish for glasses and plastics.

 

The keys

In case of loss of the set of keys with the remote control of the gate, a fixed participation of 100€ will be invoiced to you.

   

We will be happy to advise you during your stay.
